+-Account Manager

The Account Manager position at BIGEYE is responsible for the execution of day-to-day account activities to ensure client expectations are met. The Account Manager manages and guides projects through the agency to deliver superlative client service and added value at every stage.

Reports directly to the Senior Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains frequent client interaction regarding project plan/statuses and gains client trust.

• Understands and manages factors related to account profitability, client satisfaction and client retention.

• Contributes to account growth by identifying opportunities to increase revenue and methods to improve internal processes; cultivates new business opportunities from existing clients and client contacts.

• Develops project cost estimates, communicates with client for approval and feedback and manages project related costs.

• Keeps apprised of progress of clients’ projects through relevant personnel.

• Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients; supports other client service team members in these functions.

• Keeps apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments.

• Assists in preparing client invoices, proposals, marketing communications, strategic marketing plans, and media plans.

• Enter and manage all client jobs and projects through agency’s project management software, Workamajig.

• Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications, including calls and emails.

• Ability to work with and manage 3rd party partners and vendors to meet client objectives.

• Ability to write detailed proposals and statements of work to clearly define project scope, budget and timelines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments on a daily basis.

• Reviews and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts, and production art, and coordinates client approval and feedback of each project stage.

• Responsible for accurate and timely billing, coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel.

• Counsels regularly with Senior Account Manager to discuss opportunities, problems, potential problems and issues that impact the client relationship and to receive feedback on performance.

• Keeps account coordinator informed of client activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years in account service/management at an advertising or marketing agency.

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.

• Mac proficient.

• Strong organizational skills a must.

• Experience with Workamajig a plus.

• Interactive/digital development knowledge a plus.

• Social media knowledge a plus.

Agency Marketing

+-Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator position focuses on supporting new business and internal marketing initiatives. The Coordinator will work closely with the Agency Marketing Manager to support internal marketing and strategies, business development, and inbound/outbound communications efforts. This includes assisting with management and development of the new business program, while simultaneously assisting with the direction and participation of promotional activities and opportunities on behalf of BIGEYE.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, seeks collaboration, and is dedicated to establishing strong relationships to ensure prospective clients have a positive experience. In addition, the candidate has the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines and possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with day-to-day tasks of the marketing department, as well as assigned projects and coordination of all deadlines and tactical functions associated with projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating inbound/outbound prospective clients through sales funnel process and providing regular touch points.
  • Exhibiting company values of a relationship-driven partnership from initial contact with prospective client through internal onboarding.
  • Assessing prospective clients’ needs and continued growth in order to develop and create new business proposals.
  • Managing development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by providing comprehensive understanding of initial RFP, requirements and specifications.
  • Maintaining and updating CRM, remaining up to date on other communication platforms and continuing to assist and improve internal processes.
  • Providing detailed task updates on weekly new business, internal communications and monthly marketing projects.
  • Assisting with outbound marketing initiatives including tasking appropriate team members, developing brand direction and updating website.
  • Tracking market changes and industry trends while maintaining a consistent database of industry related research.
  • Overseeing multiple administrative functions of the new business team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in advertising, marketing, and/or communications
  • Prior advertising/marketing agency and/or public relations firm experience preferred
  • Minimum of BA/BS in advertising, marketing, public relations or communications
  • Understands how to manage the priorities of multiple clients in a high pressure agency environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales

Digital Marketing

+-Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist in research, planning and management of client digital marketing campaigns, email marketing, search engine marketing, online display, and mobile marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
– Conduct research including target audience identification, competitive analysis, qualitative web site profiling, search engine keyword analysis, and secondary research aggregation
– Manage campaign billing coordination
– Aggregate online marketing, email, search engine marketing and mobile phone marketing research into presentation-friendly formats
– Create project plans and schedules
– Prepare and report campaign optimization information
– Work closely with the Digital Media Manager in the preparation of estimates, campaign schedules, budgets and other project management requirements
– Coordinate the trafficking of digital media creative assets between agencies, publishers and technology providers in the areas of search, email, web and mobile marketing
– Assist in the identification and qualification of digital media vendors for client strategies
– Facilitate key meeting setup, scheduling and conference reports

Knowledge/Skill Requirements    
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a marketing communications related field
– Minimum 1-2 years within a digital, advertising, marketing position
– Communications skills with experience in delivering customer service satisfaction
– Detail minded with exceptional organization skills
– Familiarity and experience with Keynote, Excel and Word
– Avid media consumer with a keen interest in the effect of the Internet and digital technology on media consumption (we will ask a lot of digital focused questions in the interview)
– A strong interest in working within a diverse and technologically advanced environment
– Comfortable with the use of and ability to learn new digital technologies and media tactics
– Excellent communication skills including verbal communications, active listening and excellent written grammar and spelling Diligent note taking capabilities
– Ability to rapidly understand digital technology
– A team player who is passionate about their contribution towards delivering great work

Media

+-Media Buyer

The Media Buyer assists the senior director of marketing & strategic planning in research, planning and placement of all clients’ projects. The media buyer assists in establishing appropriate media and budgets for clients, and establishes good relationships with all media reps. This person must be well-versed in costs, fees, formats and other variables related to online media buying, and should be alert to changes and new opportunities of interest to clients and compatible with client goals or objectives. Reports to the senior director of marketing & strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Issues insertion orders for each and every insertion placed (making sure that a hard copy of the order accompanies the artwork).
  • Establishes deadlines for materials needed and reports deadlines to the creative, production and account services departments.
  • Maintains all digital and hard copy resource and media files, backing up and updating constantly.
  • Makes timely placement of all media according to schedules.
  • Maintains agency media schedules and issues all media reports.
  • Promptly approves all media invoices to be forwarded to client for payment.
  • Obtains and forwards tear sheets (if required) to accounting to be mailed to client with corresponding invoices.
  • Constantly maintains digital and hard copy media, client and tear sheet files.
  • Assists the public relations department in producing special features, etc.
  • Alert ssenior director of marketing & strategic planning and account team of special media offers/placement opportunities, etc.
  • Archives online all media insertion orders, including cancellations, date, size changes, etc., for access by client service teams.
  • Researches and compiles statistics on reach, frequency, CPMs, cost-per-click, CTRs, unique users, page views, conversion, cost-per-action and cost-per-sale data, for personal reference and to educate client service team members and clients.
  • Understands and can clearly explain online advertising options to client service team members.
  • Maintains current software program skills related to the performance of daily job functions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years in media advertising.
  • Prior advertising agency experience in media.
  • Well versed in digital and non-digital media.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or communications.
  • Experience with Strata, Nielson, Prizm, and other media tools.
  • Mac proficient.
  • Experience with Workamajig is a plus.
