+-Account Manager

The Account Manager position at BIGEYE is responsible for the execution of day-to-day account activities to ensure client expectations are met. The Account Manager manages and guides projects through the agency to deliver superlative client service and added value at every stage.

Reports directly to the Senior Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains frequent client interaction regarding project plan/statuses and gains client trust.

• Understands and manages factors related to account profitability, client satisfaction and client retention.

• Contributes to account growth by identifying opportunities to increase revenue and methods to improve internal processes; cultivates new business opportunities from existing clients and client contacts.

• Develops project cost estimates, communicates with client for approval and feedback and manages project related costs.

• Keeps apprised of progress of clients’ projects through relevant personnel.

• Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients; supports other client service team members in these functions.

• Keeps apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments.

• Assists in preparing client invoices, proposals, marketing communications, strategic marketing plans, and media plans.

• Enter and manage all client jobs and projects through agency’s project management software, Workamajig.

• Regularly checks for and responds promptly to all client communications, including calls and emails.

• Ability to work with and manage 3rd party partners and vendors to meet client objectives.

• Ability to write detailed proposals and statements of work to clearly define project scope, budget and timelines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments on a daily basis.

• Reviews and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts, and production art, and coordinates client approval and feedback of each project stage.

• Responsible for accurate and timely billing, coordinates project timing and budgets with all relevant agency personnel.

• Counsels regularly with Senior Account Manager to discuss opportunities, problems, potential problems and issues that impact the client relationship and to receive feedback on performance.

• Keeps account coordinator informed of client activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two years in account service/management at an advertising or marketing agency.

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.

• Mac proficient.

• Strong organizational skills a must.

• Experience with Workamajig a plus.

• Interactive/digital development knowledge a plus.

• Social media knowledge a plus.

Agency Marketing

+-Agency Content Producer

The Content Producer is the owner of the agency website, all associated landing pages, agency blog, agency social channel content, and any necessary agency-focused content. This position is responsible for the creation, promotion, measurement and optimization of content on all of these platforms. The successful candidate is an exceptional writer, has a unique writing style, and excels at self-motivation and time management. The content manager should have a keen eye for detail, top-notch problem solving skills and the confidence to edit to 100% accuracy.

This position will:

  • Create development plans for online content; recommending content types and organization based on user needs and marketing goals, identifying content gaps.
  • Create an editorial calendar to establish when content will be distributed through which channels.
  • Write and edit a lot of content.
  • Assist in creating video content for the agency platforms.
  • Develop key performance indicators for measuring content success, and compile data across several digital platforms and create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development.
  • Complete competitive site analysis and benchmarking in content breadth, organization and presentation.
  • Maintain communications with appropriate agency personnel to ensure positive workflow.

Relevant Skills Include:

  • Outstanding written and verbal skills, impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Writing social copy, short-form copy (blogs), and long-form copy (whitepapers, etc)
  • Ability to self-motivate and manage time well.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with content management software.
  • A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online.
  • Great research, organizational, and learning skills.
  • High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

Relevant Experience Should Include

  • Familiarity with content management and editorial processes preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a strategist in a creative agency or digital agency environment.

We are currently seeking interns for Spring 2018.

We are currently looking for a web developer intern who will assist with back end and front end programming of new and existing websites, perform website updates, Q/A testing and website optimization implementations. Our ideal candidate is a passionate, motivated self-starter with a love for coding and willingness to learn new things on a daily basis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside our team of developers, designers and account team on a day to day basis to create and update websites.
  • Perform routine maintenance on websites and ensure that all sites are up to date and secure.
  • Ensure the quality assurance of new sites and updated sites.
  • Add updated content to sites.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for issues or requests that arise.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of front end programming technologies such as, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Javascript, Jquery, Media Queries and Mobile Responsiveness.
  • Proficient or willing to learn the following back end programming technologies; PHP, MySQL, JSON, API’s, Node and Grunt.
